Bibaar ( By Bandita)

Bibaar is all about celebrating weaves from the various indigenous communities of Assam. Meaning “Flower” in the local Bodo dialect, it was founded by Bandita Mushahary who wants to bring these amazing weaves of Assam to the forefront. The label Bibaar works so as to bring about some newness to the already beautiful craft, without losing out its essence e.g. working on fresh colour combinations, adding hand embroidery etc. Bibaar works with the real artisans and craftsmen belonging to the various weaving communities so that the uniqueness of each community’s designs can be celebrated.
