There are people who celebrate slow processes in this fast-growing world. In India, those people are celebrated as "artists,' the humans of art, craft, and culture. Brass is a very prominent part of Indian households as it is known to kill harmful bacteria that may cause infections. Due to its properties, one could easily find a trunk filled with brass utensils in Indian homes.

To bring innovation to this alloy, Craftroots brought together weavers, wood-turning artisans, and brass cutters to bring masterpieces to life. Explore the roots of India through the passion and persuasion of the keepers of India's heritage.

There is immense significance of land in Hindu culture. Every time people buy land, they do 'Bhoomi Bujan,' which translates to worshipping the land. In the interiors of Gujarat resides a culturally rich and creative land of Kutch, which celebrates a craft rooted to the land, the mud work. With high-rise buildings in the urban landscape, our artisans built wall frames inspired by the houses in Kutch, locally referred to as 'Bhungas.'

These frames imbibed the essence of the land of Kutch and the love of Indian artisans. The process of Mud work demands high skills and creativity, as the motifs in a Mud work frame are not traced or designed prior; These are predominantly the artisans' brainchild. Embellished with mirrors, or 'Abhala,' these mud work frames are made with love to add a regal charm to your space.
