Truss-Me is a collection of bamboo products that manifests our philosophy at Sangaru. It is developed working along with the traditional artisan community that understands this material the best.

With traditional practices and knowledge fast disappearing, we are constantly working with native artisans to bring about a change in the way craft is perceived. Adding value to the chain of processes through design, innovation and marketing.

Exploring new construction techniques using bamboo poles and splits, creating modular forms for a variety of new applications.

Truss-Me uses Bamboo’s inherent property of high tensile strength and it’s various mechanical properties, to create a structure system that is light, strong and formally pleasing. 

The laminated modules act like a truss - a lightweight load bearing frame structure. This system can be used in various applications from Furniture, Lightweight Shelters to Modular Systems for various needs.
