This Mulberry silk Ajrakh dupatta features a rich chocolate brown field adorned with a complex interlocking geometric floral jaal. Developed using the heritage 16-step Ajrakh hand block printing technique of Kutch, Gujarat, this piece is crafted from premium Mulberry silk, providing a luxurious luster and a fluid, graceful drape that enhances the sharp artisanal geometry of the pattern.

The design is centered on a dense "jaal" or mesh of interlocking circular floral mandalas and geometric lattices in muted olive and blue tones. This intricate field is dramatically framed by a high-contrast cream sawtooth (triangle) border that outlines a solid brown edge, creating a modern architectural finish to the traditional central motifs. Each element is meticulously hand-stamped using hand-carved wooden blocks, requiring master-level precision to ensure the interlocking jaal remains perfectly aligned across the lustrous silk surface.

The deep brown and olive tones are achieved through natural dye processes using iron-based mordants and pomegranate rinds, while the soft blue accents are derived from natural indigo.
