This Mulberry silk Ajrakh dupatta features a rich chocolate-brown base adorned with a dense, interlocking geometric floral jaal in indigo and cream. Developed using the heritage 16-step Ajrakh hand block printing technique of Kutch, Gujarat, this piece is crafted from premium Mulberry silk, providing a luxurious sheen and a smooth, fluid drape that enhances the complexity of the artisanal motifs.

The central field is a rhythmic composition of circular floral mandalas connected by geometric lattices, creating a continuous "jaal" that flows across the fabric. This intricate center is framed by a bold, multi-layered border featuring a striking sawtooth (zigzag) pattern and dramatic, elongated minaret-style motifs at the ends. Each element is meticulously hand-stamped using hand-carved wooden blocks, requiring master-level precision to ensure the interlocking patterns remain flawlessly aligned.

The deep brown tones are achieved through natural dye processes using iron-based mordants and pomegranate rinds, while the cool blue accents are derived from natural indigo vats. These organic pigments interact with the lustrous Mulberry silk to create a multi-dimensional depth of color that shifts beautifully under different lighting conditions.
