This Mulberry silk Ajrakh dupatta features a rich terracotta red base adorned with a rhythmic "jaal" of geometric floral medallions. Developed using the heritage 16-step Ajrakh hand block printing technique of Kutch, Gujarat, this piece is crafted from premium Mulberry silk, providing a luxurious luster and a graceful, fluid drape that enhances the complexity of the artisanal pattern.

The design is distinguished by its central field of small, precisely aligned floral butis, which transition into a bold horizontal focal band featuring large, stylized four-petaled flowers. This band serves as a visual anchor, framed by ornate geometric borders and delicate floral vines. Each motif is meticulously hand-stamped using hand-carved wooden blocks, requiring master-level registration to maintain the symmetry of both the fine medallions and the large-scale floral elements.

The warm terracotta tones are achieved through natural dye processes using madder root, while the teal and indigo accents are derived from natural indigo vats. The black outlines are created from fermented iron mordants. These organic pigments interact with the Mulberry silk fibers to create a multi-dimensional depth of color that shifts elegantly with light and movement, characteristic of genuine high-end Ajrakh.
