Developed using the heritage 16-step Ajrakh hand block printing technique of Kutch, Gujarat, this piece is crafted from premium Mulberry silk, offering a luxurious sheen and a smooth, fluid drape that highlights the minimalist artisanal composition.

The design moves away from dense all-over jaals to focus on clean vertical panels of solid terracotta red, separated by thin, precisely stamped geometric lines. This modern field is anchored by deep, multi-layered borders featuring intricate geometric bands and a solid black edge. Each element is meticulously hand-stamped using hand-carved wooden blocks, requiring master-level alignment to maintain the sharp, linear movement across the lustrous silk surface.

The earthy terracotta red is achieved through natural dye processes using madder root (alizarin), while the sharp black outlines are derived from fermented iron mordants. These organic pigments interact with the Mulberry silk to create a rich, luminous depth of color that shifts beautifully with movement, characteristic of high-end natural-dyed textiles.
